2. Someone becomes a linguist, a sociologist, a biologist, a veterinarian, a historian is to spend your college life dedicated to learning how to be that. If you spend your time learning how to do a certain hobby or learning a certain career you can become it. It has to be taught to in order for you to become the best at it.
3. The difference between a Primary Discourse and a secondary discourse, is that a primary discourse is an act you develop when you are raised. For example, if I were to be raised in a community that was not rich and went through life acting in a way that everyone around me acted. If I were to grow up and become a rich business man, I would not be able to act the same way I did in the community that I was raised in. I would have to change my ways and act as if I was a rich businessman. By doing this I would be using a secondary discourse.

5. Nonverbal communication is very important especially when you are in business. When you have meetings in business you need to use your non verbal communication to show that you are confident about whatever you are presenting. You don’t want to show that you are shy or that you are not confident about the work you are showing.
In Cuddy’s Ted talk she quotes “When they sit down, they’re sort of spread out. They raise their hands like this. You have other people who are virtually collapsing when they come in. As soon they come in, you see it.”
